The ProSort is designed for easy removal of the divert

switch assembly for maintenance or replacement. In order

to remove the switch assembly follow the following steps.

Remove the cover located on the side of the sorter

channel at the divert switch (Figure 25A).

Unplug the elbow from the fitting on the solenoid air

valve by pushing in on the red flange of the fitting and

then pulling on the elbow.

Disconnect proximity switch connector.

By reaching through the uncovered hole in the side

channel remove the two nuts at the back side of the

switch assembly channel. Then remove the two bolts

on the outside of the sorter channel which hold the

front side of the switch assembly channel up (Figure

25B).

The side of the switch assembly channel may then be

lowered and the entire assembly may be removed

through the opening in the sorter channel.

Check the new switch assembly according to the

“Divert Switch Checklist” on page 20.

Install the new divert switch assembly by reversing the

procedure by which the old assembly was removed.

El ProSort está diseñado de tal manera que el interruptor de

desviación pueda ser removido fácilmente. Para remover el

ensamble del interruptor siga los siguientes pasos:

Remueva la cubierta del interruptor localizada en el

lado del canal del clasificador (Fig. 25A).

Desenchufe el codo del encaje de la válvula solenoide

de aire empujando en la franja roja del encaje y jalan-

do el codo.

Desconecte el interruptor de proximidad.

Remueva las dos tuercas localizadas en la parte de

atrás del canal en el ensamble del interruptor, a través

del agujero situado en el canal lateral. Luego remue-

va los dos tornillos de la parte exterior del canal clasi-

ficador que sostienen la parte frontal del ensamble del

interruptor (Fig. 25B).

El lado del canal del ensamble puede ser bajado para

remover el ensamble del interruptor a través de la

abertura del canal del clasificador.

Revise el nuevo ensamble del interruptor de acuerdo

a la “Revisión del Interruptor” de la página 20.

Instale el nuevo ensamble del interruptor revisando el

proceso que se siguió para remover el antiguo.
